EnJoy Exercise.. No Wait! I mean play

While it is important to sweat, to rid your body
of toxins, we all just need to move more. It makes
it so much easier to do when it is fun.

 

 

 

 

Exercise Tip:


Keep hand weights at your desk or by your reading chair
...

Do a few reps when you have a short break. Do bicep curls or triceps extensions. While seated, put the hand weights on the floor. Rest your toes on them and lift your heels to work your calf muscles.

If you have a job that requires you to sit all day, take time to periodically get up from your chair and do mild stretches to keep your spine and back flexible and stretched out.

Go for a walk-Take the dog. Take the kids. Take your spouse or call a friend. Each day try to walk a little more than the day before. Take a look at our L.E.A.N pedometers in the products section, to track how many more steps you take.

Go to the playground or park-Show the kids how to make it across the monkey bars. Do chin ups on the bars. Have a foot race.

Dance-At the end of the day, when the kids get "owely" put on some music and dance around. It gets rid of the "crankies" and extra calories! You cannot help but have fun.

Play tennis or basketball-if you have equipment and access
 

Go for a bike ride...

Around the block or drive to bike in new scenery. 
Fresh air and exercise how can you not enJoy that?

 

 

 

 


 

City recreation centers or YMCAs-take a class you are interested in.  Many facilities offer everything from ballet to yoga.
