Healthy Habits For The Entire Family
In the LEAN Kids Program, the term lifestyle refers to the daily choices
we all make that contribute to a happy and healthy mind and body.
Some habits that can be incorporated into a lean lifestyle are…
- Grazing on nutritious food throughout the day
- Making supermarket shopping a lesson in lean living
- Starting the day with a brainy breakfast
- Doing 30 – 60 minutes of physical activity daily
- Liking your body type
- Eliminating toxic and negative thoughts
- Spending more of the day on play time (moving) than on screen time
(sitting)
- Thinking of both eating and moving as forms of preventative medicine
- Getting restful sleep each night
As you can see even though the LEAN Kids Program is primarily for
children it will involve the entire family.
