Have you ever had to go back to work after enjoying a big meal?

Too many carbs and fats will put the brain to sleep. You may welcome this drowsy feeling at bedtime, but it won't help your performance at work or your child's performance at school.  Brains function better on smaller amounts of food, in just the right proportions of carbs, fats, and proteins, eaten throughout the day.

Since proteins perk up the brain, send your kids off to school with a high protein, healthy carb, and healthy fat breakfast, such as whole grain cereal and yogurt.
